The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended on March 15 that no gatherings with 50 people or more — including weddings, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events or conferences — be held in the United States for the next eight weeks to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

In light of this recommendation, STO’s May 2 concert is cancelled.

We plan to perform the spring program (David’s Trombone Concerto, Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5) at our November concert.

Of course, STO still needs your support. Thank you to those who have sent in a donation already. If you wish to send a contribution, it may be mailed to General Manager Solange De Santis at 123 Mamaroneck Ave., #616, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 or made electronically at this website.

Stay safe and healthy and we look forward to producing great music in the fall to heal all our souls. If you have any questions, contact STO here.
