Dear STO friends,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the St. Thomas Orchestra board has decided that the spring 2021 concert cannot take place.
The schools where we practice and perform are not allowing outside groups this spring and the coronavirus vaccine is not yet widespread enough to allow us to begin rehearsals in late February for the usual May concert date.
We don’t yet know what the Village of Mamaroneck might decide concerning the traditional July 4 concert in Harbor Island Park, but let’s at least hope we can gather again for a fall concert. Please stay safe and healthy.
Warm regards,
Music Director Bernard Tamosaitis, Board Chair George Drapeau and the STO Board
