Today is #GivingTuesday, when we all realize how much non-profits such as St. Thomas Orchestra enhance our common life.

STO cancelled its usual November concert due to uncertainty about COVID-19 transmission and the availability of performance venues. We are evaluating the potential environment for a spring 2021 concert.

We had planned in 2020 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a performance of his Symphony #5. Even if we celebrate Beethoven 250+1 next year, the Fifth Symphony still stands as a musical landmark, enriching all humanity. We are eager to perform it!

Of course, STO still needs your support. Thank you to those who have sent in a donation already. If you wish to send a contribution, it may be made electronically (see the “donate” button at right), or mailed to the address below the donate button.

Stay safe and healthy and we look forward to producing great music again to heal all our souls. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Warm regards,
Music Director Bernard Tamosaitis, Board Chair George Drapeau and the STO Board
